moving/looking forward/back:

requiem for a degree

a joint endeavor by Bailey Jones, Grant MacFaddin, Izzy Bauman, and Matt Steinberg

a requiem mourns a loss and celebrates a departure. in the witchiest thing we’ve done yet, we mourn our youth and celebrate a commencement (!!!) of sorts; we move forward while looking back. the textual and musical forms of the requiem act as a guide, taking bailey, standing in for each of us, through the stages of ceremony in a series that reflects on our own individual becomings.
